Due to our extreme Texas weather, we prefer using grade #1 cedar for our cedar fences to ensure their longevity. Inferior grades of lumber have larger knot holes that can pop out within a year of construction. Wood is a natural product, so there is a clear difference in the quality of various species for outdoor use.


Certain wood types are better suited to withstand natural weathering processes, and we believe grade 1 cedar is the best choice for North Texas. Our installation process includes digging all post holes 3 feet deep, placing all posts 6 feet apart, and using Maximizer concrete. To prevent gates from sagging, we always install a minimum of 3 heavy-duty hinges.


Every cedar fence features a 2x6 pressure-treated kick board to keep the pickets off the ground and reduce damage from weed eating. You can choose from a side-by-side or board-on-board design, along with your desired custom fence design features.

Grade #1 cedar lumber (pre-stained or raw) is used for our cedar fences, featuring metal posts spaced 6 feet apart. The posts are set in Maximizer concrete, 3 feet deep, and complemented by 1x6 cedar pickets (optional 1x4). For structural integrity, we utilize 2x4 rails made from #1 grade full rough-cut cedar, along with a 2x6 pressure treated kick board. Additionally, we provide one standard gate with 3 hinges, and we will remove and dispose of your existing fence and posts. City permit and utility location services are included. We offer many design options, including vertical, horizontal, and custom fence design.
